RB Cam Akers Out

Per Sean McVay and the injury report, RB Cam Akers will not be available for the Oct. 4th game vs the New York Giants at Sofi Stadium being ruled out.  Akers has been nursing a rib cartilage injury he suffered at Philadelphia on week 2.  The 2nd round pick has a lot of upside and will be welcomed back once healed.  He had been listed day to day.

The play of RB Darrell Henderson has made it possible to rest the rookie running back vs rushing him in to play.  This will help for the long term to have a healthy trio of backs once again.  The Giants have been a disappointment this year so far as well and should not pose too much of a problem with Akers being unavailable putting the workload on the other two backs.

S Jordan Fuller Questionable

Rookie S Jordan Fuller has been marked as questionable for this week’s matchup as well.  Although there is a better chance that he will see play depending on the next couple of days.  Fuller has made an immediate impact on the Rams secondary.  Making sound tackles and being in good positions he has had a very good start.  The late-round pick was itching to get back into the game against Buffalo Bills last week so it may be hard to keep him sidelined again this weekend.
