The Los Angeles Rams will pick in 40 selections as the first and second round have concluded. The Rams will have the second to last pick in the third round at pick 104. While everything hasn’t gone their way, there are still some quality players on the board. Here are 32 players they could have their eyes on.
QB Malik Willis, Liberty
QB Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati
LB Nakobe Dean, Georgia
iOL Dylan Parham, Memphis
TE Isaiah Likely, Coastal
While a quarterback would be surprising, it’s not something that should be ruled out if Willis or Ridder are available. Stafford is 34 years old. Neither of these players are necessarily ready to start right away. The Los Angeles Rams could let them sit for two or three years. After that time, they could either deal the young quarterback or Stafford for picks. Another more serious option however could be Dylan Parham. Parham is an undersized center, but has quick lateral movement and is very smart. Those are two qualities the Rams look for.
TE Cade Otton, Washington
TE Jelani Woods, Virginia
S Kerby Joseph, Illinois
RB Zamir White
If Cade Otton is available, don’t be shocked if the Los Angeles Rams seriously consider him. He’s a great route runner and good in-line blocker. Tyler Higbee becomes expendable next year and Otton could be his replacement.
CB Coby Bryant, Cincinnati
S Nick Cross, Maryland
LB Darrian Beavers, Cincinnati
EDGE Alex Wright, UAB
On the defensive side, Coby Bryant and Nick Cross would be good fits in the secondary. Bryant is scheme versatile with good ball skills. He can also move around the defense which the Rams will value.
RB Tyler Badie, Mizzou
OT Zach Tom, Wake Forest
RB Pierre Strong, Jr., South Dakota State
RB Brian Robinson, Jr., Alabama
There are a lot of running backs in this group, but Badie would add a versatile weapon to the Los Angeles Rams offense that McVay could work with and he had over 900 yards after contact last season. Pierre Strong Jr. is also someone that the Rams have shown interest. Zach Tom would be a great tackle-guard prospect who is a fit in the Rams offense.
RB Kyren Williams, Notre Dame
DB Damarri Mathis, Pitt
CB Tariq Castro-Fields
OL Cordell Volson, NDSU
EDGE DeAngelo Malone, Western Kentucky
A good mix of players here for the Rams to watch. DeAngelo Malone, Kyren Williams, and Damarri Mathis would probably be the best fits. A linebacker would be surprising considering the Rams signed Bobby Wagner. Volson is another offensive lineman with guard-tackle versatility.
EDGE Dominique Robinson, Miami (OH)
iOL Luke Fortner, Kentucky
iOL Joshua Ezeudu, UNC
LB Damone Clark, LSU
CB Chase Lucas
It would not be surprising to see the Los Angeles Rams come away with Dominique Robinson or Luke Fortner. Both players are great fits and would be solid picks for Snead and Co. As an additional bonus, Fortner has experience with Liam Coen at Kentucky.
CB Zyon McCollum, Sam Houston State
RB Rachaad White, Arizona State
iOL Lecitus Smith, Virginia Tech
TE Charlie Kolar, Iowa State
iOL Donohvan West, Arizona State
Zyon McCollum would be another great fit at cornerback with Cam Taylor-Britt off of the board. He’s one of the more athletically gifted cornerbacks in the class. Again, don’t rule out running back or tight end. Lastly, West is a great fit on the offensive line and someone the Rams could fall in love with.
