Rams Free Agency: Top 20 Free Agents for the Rams Heading into Week 2

The Los Angeles Rams were relatively quiet in the first week of free agency. Aside from re-signing linebacker Leonard Floyd and placing a tender on Darious Williams, the team didn’t do a lot. However, with week two of free agency comes the second wave and with that, the Rams should be a little more active.

The Rams already started their week by signing wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Here are 25 other names to watch.

1. CB Adoree Jackson
2. EDGE Jadeveon Clowney
3. C Austin Blythe
4. CB Malcolm Butler
5. CB Brian Poole

The Los Angeles Rams have reportedly shown interest in Adoree Jackson and have had interest in Clowney in the past. As things work back around, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them bring back Austin Blythe either. Of these top five, I’d be surprised if the Rams don’t bring in one.

6. EDGE Ryan Kerrigan
7. CB AJ Bouye
8. S Damontae Kazee
9. DL Jurrell Casey
10. CB Darqueze Dennard

This is an intriguing list. Kerrigan is an aging edge player, but can still produce while Bouye had his most success with Jalen Ramsey. Kazee and Dennard each have connection to Raheem Morris and the Rams need depth in the secondary. While the Rams are deep on the defensive line, adding Casey to replace Brockers could make sense.

11. DL Lawrence Guy
12. LB BJ Goodson
13. RB Tevin Coleman
14. LB Eric Wilson
15. TE Tyler Kroft

Now we get into some long-shots “probably won’t happen” players. Guy could be a bargain player for some team. He’s been stout against the run throughout his career. Coleman could replace Malcolm Brown as the veteran running back on the team. Eric Wilson gives the Rams an athletic linebacker, but he does have a problem with missed tackles.

16. EDGE Vic Beasley
17. OG Forrest Lamp
18. C/G Nick Easton
19. LB Alex Anzalone
20. G Ben Garland

The last five on here would be dart throws. Anzalone and Lamp have each dealt with their issues with injuries. Beasley would be looking to revive his career. Easton and Garland give the Rams some depth on the interior of the offensive line.
