The NFL schedule will be announced soon but at this moment we are seeing and hearing all sorts of news being leaked. One of these leaks comes from a credentialed Cowboys beat writer announcing what many expected, the Rams will open up their season versus Dallas on primetime at the new stadium.

Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner had a big role in bringing the Rams back to Los Angeles and assisting Stan Kroenke as he basically swayed the owner’s to vote for the Inglewood Stadium project that brought the Rams to Los Angeles over the Carson Stadium project that would have just brought the Chargers and Raiders to Los Angeles. It does seem fitting that this would be the case. However, many including myself felt like kicking off the new stadium versus not only the AFC Champions but the biggest rivals in Rams history would have made more sense.

Nonetheless, football schedules are being announced, the Rams are getting a primetime game as long as this turns out to be 100 percent a fact and fans will have a lot to be excited for on the opening night.
