The Rams are spending today in a big way. The team has reportedly agreed to terms with former Lions defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson on a two-year deal that will pay out $17 million according to Tom Pelissero.

Robinson is 24-years old and reuniting with former coach and now Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley. Robinson had a borderline elite Pro Football Focus grade in 2018 but his 2019 was a bit of a letdown. The young defensive tackle will likely fill the void left by Michael Brockers as the former Ram moved onto the Ravens in free agency.
Robinson finished four seasons with the Detroit Lions, starting in 37 of 58 games, recording an interception, touchdown, three forced fumbles, three fumbles recoveries, five sacks, 172 tackles and 16 tackles for a loss.
