The Rams have finally made a free agency move. In the wake of Dante Fowler Jr. signing elsewhere, the Rams have brought in ex-Bears outside linebacker Leonard Floyd on a one-year deal.
Former Bears' pass rusher Leonard Floyd is signing a one-year, $10 million worth up to $13 with the Rams, per source.

The move comes as a bit of a shock seeing as the Rams do not possess a ton of cap space and are putting nearly $10 million of it into a street free agent who just regressed last season and was ultimately released. However, the 27-year old is a former top ten pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and has experience with new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley.
In Floyd’s career, he has 18.5 sacks in 54 starts. This move could mean that they unreported details of the Dante Fowler Jr. deal were way out of the Rams price range for what they could afford. It’s an interesting move nonetheless.
