In a surprising move, the Rams have re-signed left tackle Andrew Whitworth to a three-year contract per Adam Schefter. It’s not surprising that the Rams brought back Whitworth but it is surprising that they gave him a three-year deal at 38-years old. The deal has been announced with no monetary details yet known.

With this signing, the Rams now have retained the offensive linemen that were impending free agents coming into the offseason. Realistically speaking, the Rams can start the entire offensive line they had last season all over again. Now, this begs the question. Where do players like Rob Havenstein and Joseph Noteboom mean for the future of this organization? With a three-year deal in hand, Whitworth is clearly seen as the guy at left tackle. This is set to be very interesting.
