Dante Fowler Jr. is one of the many talented Rams impending free agents and now he’s going to be a member of the Atlanta Falcons. The 25-year-old pass rusher signed a one-year deal last year to stay in Los Angeles after the team acquired him from the Jaguars in a mid-season trade. The details of the deal are unreported at this time.

Fowler played in 24 games with the Rams racking up seven batted passes, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one touchdown, 58 tackles and 13.5 sacks. The Rams now are thin at not only the outside linebacker position but the defense in general. This loss, however, should net the Rams a third-round compensatory selection in next year’s NFL Draft.
At this point, it’s hard to understand what direction the Rams want to go in but right now having only signed Austin Blythe, this team appears to be in a decent amount of trouble and will have to repair the damage sooner than later. The damage that has been left after watching key members of a former Super Bowl appearing team leave the franchise.
