I’m excited to be back and get this first week of betting off to an extra great start of the NFL year!

Here are your picks of the week!

Rams pick of the Week: Rams (-2.5) at Panthers (-114). Goff was just paid and he is ready to prove to the league that he is the real deal! Look for the Rams’ offense to look very good to start the season. The Panthers may end up having a solid season

Thursday Night Pick of the Week:  Packers at Bears – Rodgers to Throw OVER two (2) touchdowns (-112). The opening game of the season is the classic match-up between the Bears and the Packers. It will be a hard-fought game and I’d rather stay away from the spread. Rodgers is ready to win the MVP and take his team to the Super Bowl, look for him to impress and clear the over for touchdowns thrown in this game.

AFC Pick of the Week: Chiefs (-3.5) at Jaguars (-105): The Chiefs are posses to be one of the best teams in the league and a good bet in most futures. Mahomes broke out last season and wants to prove to the league that it was not a fluke. Andy Ried has brought LeSean McCoy back into his system, which could yield terrific benefits for all involved. Jacksonville is not a team on the rise and despite having a good defense, Kansas City has too many weapons. Look for Kansas City to cover the spread even if the Jaguars look solid.

NFC Pick of the Week: Seahawks (-8.5) v. Bengals (-110): The math is simple here. In case you haven’t been paying attention to the dumpster fire that is the Bengals… the team isn’t good. To be fair, I like the coaching hires that were made, I think the defense will be improved and that Mixon could be one of the better running backs in the league. But AJ Green is not there the offense needs time to build. I think the team is the right direction but this veteran Seahawks team is going to take care of business at home against an inferior opponent. Russel Wilson and Pete Caroll have taught us that much. I also like this team in parlays, you can bring the score under a field goal.

Non-NFL Pick of the Week: UAB at Arkon OVER 46.5 pts (-110). Just because the teams seem “small” and the markets aren’t “major” doesn’t mean that they’re not good. Both of these offenses are good and will score this weekend. 46.5 is relatively low in terms of over/under totals for a college football game between these two teams. Don’t knock the smaller schools, and definitely do not miss an opportunity to watch these offenses put up some points.

Rams Futures Bet Tracker: *Since the season hasn’t started yet Draftkings does not have all of the future lines out – so this will be updated of course.*
Sack Leader: Donald (+300)
Rushing Leader: Gurley (+1400)
Rushing TD Leader: Gurley (+1100)
Passing Yards Leader: Goff (+1600)
Passing TD Leader:  Goff (+1600)
