Welcome back to the Downtown Rams Sportsbook Insider!  While the Rams may not have gotten a win, we hope all our readers were at least able to win some bets! It’s the heart of football season so we’re going hard with the theme of Football Sunday!

Last week the DTR Sportsbook did well again and went 2 for 3 on the NFL bets but lost the college football winning bet. Unfortunately, the team from Boston keeps us from another win yet again.

Here are your picks of the week!

Rams pick of the Week: Over (63)* Rams v. Chiefs (-110). Unfortunately for the NFL the game of the week (maybe game of the year) had to be moved away from its prime-time Mexico City location. With L.A. hosting the game there is likely to be many more Rams fans, but also many more Chiefs fans.  Both teams are going to be fighting for league supremacy and the stadium is going to be able to provide the atmosphere for a must watch game. I see this game being a blow-out and even though 63 is the highest line of the week it could get even higher before game time.

NFC Pick of the Week: Saints (-8) v. Philadelphia (-110). The Saints are one of the best teams in the league, which is why they are commonly included in the picks of the week.  The defending Super Bowl champs are not fully healthy and are fighting adversity. With that being said, their secondary is extremely depleted and future HOFer Drew Bress is going to impress.

AFC Pick of the Week: Chargers (-7) v. Broncos (-110).  The bottom line is not only does LA have a Super Bowl Contender in the NFC, the city has the team that no Super Bowl Contender in the AFC wants to face.  The Chargers are good! The Broncos are going to struggle against a Melvin Gordon, who may be the best RB in his conference, even if he isn’t the best RB in his city.  On the other side of this match-up the Broncos are a team who is struggling to find themselves. I see this game being an unexciting win for the Chargers who should clear the one TD spread with ease. Smart move says to add this match-up to every tease to boost the value of that bet. Bring the line from (-7) to (0) and sleep on it.

Non-NFL Pick of the Week: Belgium v. Switzerland (+110). UEFA Nations. Sunday Noon EST.
It’s a Football Sunday so I thought I’d include European football as well!  The Europeans are in the midst of UEFA play and Belgium, who beat Switzerland on the 12th, is looking to secure first place in League A Group 2 by beating them once again this Sunday. Soccer is a fun bet because of the tie. Due to the likelihood of a tie (which has +245 odds) the money line bets on favorites can be positive (as it is here). Belgium is a good bet as both you and they look to lock up a W.

Bonus Parlay! L.A. Running Backs to Score: Yes, I know, this is a prop bet with odds that are TBD.  But I gotta give some more love to these RBs because we are really seeing something amazing this year. Parlay Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon to both score. Pick two more players to score and pair all 4 to cash out!  Also, I know you love this throw back college uniform picture of these two studs.
