The Los Angeles Rams kick off their season Monday Night against the San Francisco 49ers, a division rival who beat them in overtime in the last week of the 2015 season. Now in 2016, the Rams will be ready for the rematch and look to start 1-0. Here are five bold predictions.

1. Todd Gurley Will Rush For 200 Yards

Todd Gurley is fresh and ready to go. In last year’s meeting against the 49ers, Gurley rushed for 133 yards on 20 carries. Jeff Fisher is going to make sure that number 30 gets the ball as often as possible and being that the 49ers had one of the worst run defenses in the NFL last year, it’s hard to imagine a talent like Gurley not going off.

It’s week one, it’s primetime, on the road against a division rival. Todd Gurley will have his first career 200 yard game in the NFL.

2. Tavon Austin Will Score Twice(One Rushing, One Receiving)

Like Gurley, the Rams are going to try and get the ball to Tavon Austin as much as possible and in as many ways as possible. Last year we saw that Austin can be a dual threat running and passing.

The Rams receiver just signed a big contract and will be looking to prove that he was worth all of that money. He starts his 2016 off strong with two touchdowns agains the 49ers.

3. Tyler Higbee Will Outperform Lance Kendricks

Lance Kendricks may be the starter, but the Rams found a talent in Tyler Higbee and we saw glimpses of it in the preseason. It’s only a matter of time before Higbee is getting the bulk of the tight end snaps especially on passing downs.

It’s week one and Fisher doesn’t normally start rookies, but Higbee will get some playing time and when he does, he’ll be effective and hopefully expedite his rise up the depth chart.

4. 3 Sacks For Robert Quinn and a fumble

Robert Quinn is finally back and healthy and he’ll be looking to start his 2016 off strong. Joe Staley and Quinn will be a fun matchup to watch all night, but in the end, Quinn will win the battle and Blaine Gabbert will be seeing number 94 in his nightmares after the game.

5. The Rams Win Big

Vegas has the Rams as just 2.5 point favorites, but with both Austin and Gurley starting the season strong, there’s no way the Rams dont win by double digits. Im predicting a 31-10 final score.
